High-level disinfectant. Kills vegetative pathogens, including:
- Pseudomonas Aeruginosa
- Poliovirus type 1-2
- Coxsackie B1, B3
- Echovirus type 6
- Adenovirus type 2
- Herpes simplex type 1 & 2
- Influenza A2, Hong Kong
- Vaccinia mycobacterium tuberculosis
Cold Sterilant. Kills resistant pathogenic spores, including:
- Clostridium sporagenes
- Bacillus subtilis.
Medica 28 Plus 3.0% Glutaraldehyde is a new higher strength formulation with accelerated kill times for faster high level disinfection of instruments. Medica 28 Plus uses a lower glutaraldehyde level than other extra strength products to reduce odor and vapor level in the operatory. Medica 28 Plus has a minimal surfactant level to protect lensed instruments and a new solid activator to assure a mild pleasant smell at the higher glutaraldehyde concentration and to maintain a consistent efficacy level through 28 days of continuous use.
